With a love for the mountains, and a love for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia, the founders of Firefly Ridge set off in search of the perfect camping location to share with friends and family. With experience in hospitality and with managing mountain cabin rentals, the vision of Firefly Ridge was born. Ultimately they wanted to share their experiences with others and showcase the rolling hills, majestic views and an unparalleled beauty found in the Appalachian Mountains. With unbelievable opportunities to ride horses, swim in the Cacapon or Potomac rivers, go fishing, listen to the birds, take a stroll through nature or bring your mountain bike and hit the trails, Great Cacapon will provide an unforgettable experience less than two hours from Washington D.C.
Firefly Ridge is located 10 minutes outside of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and within 200 miles of major cities such as Washington D.C, Pittsburg, Philadelphia and Richmond. Berkeley Springs is connected by interstate highways making Firefly Ridge easy to access while allowing you to connect with nature through a luxury camping experience.

Bring food to cook and clothes to wear. We will take care of the rest! Included in your stay are linens, towels, firewood, dishes and cookware.
Each tent is outfitted with either a king-sized bed or two full-sized beds, upholstered armchairs, 600 thread count sheets, 10” memory foam mattress, lounge chairs and a Big Horn fire pit for cooking and relaxing.
We provide GSI Outdoor dishes, utensils, mugs, a kettle and cookware including pots and pans that can be used on an open fire. Blackstone grills (with cooking utensils) are available for rent.
The water is potable and is sourced from an on-site well.
A luxury bathhouse on-site houses a men’s room and women’s room with private showers and toilets. Shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are provided along with fresh fluffy towels.
Our tents do not have electricity but do have power stations that allow for charging electronic items and powering fans in warmer months. Solar string lights surround each tent site and lanterns are provided.
