Great Cacapon, West Virginia, is a fantastic destination for fishing enthusiasts. Here are some of the best fishing spots in the area:

  • Cacapon River: The Cacapon River is the centerpiece of Great Cacapon’s fishing scene. This picturesque river is home to a variety of fish species, including smallmouth bass, channel catfish, sunfish, and rock bass. Anglers can enjoy both wading and fishing from the riverbanks, offering ample opportunities for a successful catch.
  • Potomac River: The Cacapon River is the centerpiece of Great Cacapon’s fishing scene. With two public river access points just minutes from Firefly Ridge the whole group can find something to do in or near the water! The Route 9 Bridge and Fisher’s Ford are both nearby and afford the easiest access points to the water.
