With two public river access points just minutes from Firefly Ridge the whole group can find something to do in or near the water. The Route 9 Bridge and Fisher’s Ford are both nearby and afford the easiest access points to the water.

The Old Roman Bathhouse
The old Roman Bathhouse in Berkeley Springs, also known as the Berkeley Springs State Park Bathhouse, is a historic building located in Berkeley Springs State Park, West Virginia. It was built in 1815 and is one of the oldest structures in the park.
The Bathhouse was designed in the Federal architectural style and was originally built to provide a place for visitors to bathe in the warm mineral waters that flow through the town’s springs. The Bathhouse was modeled after the ancient Roman baths, with separate men’s and women’s sections, and features large, open rooms with marble floors, columns, and arched windows.
Today, the Bathhouse has been renovated and restored, and is used as a museum and cultural center. Visitors can explore the historic building and learn about the history of the springs and the town.

The Star Theater
In 1928, this former garage became Berkeley Springs' only movie theater, The Star. It serves freshly popped popcorn, acclaimed as the best in four states. Enjoy films, cabaret shows, live music, or private events in the Junk Room with affordable tickets.

Berkeley Springs Festivals
West Virginia heritage thrives in Berkeley Springs, which hosts numerous festivals year-round. The farmers market operates from April to December, showcasing local food and businesses. Notable events include the Apple Butter Festival in early October and the international water tasting festival. Other celebrations feature West Virginia cuisine, birding events, and Spa Feast. What do I need to bring?
Bring food to cook and clothes to wear. We will take care of the rest! Included in your stay are linens, towels, firewood, dishes and cookware.
What is the bathroom situation?
We have a bathhouse on-site with a men’s room and women’s room. Both sides have private shower stalls and toilet stalls. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided along with fresh fluffy towels.
Does the tent have AC?
An icy-breeze cooler is provided at each tent site to act as AC as the weather heats up.
What is at my tent site?
Each tent is outfitted with either a king-sized bed or two full-sized beds, upholstered armchairs, linens and blankets, a comfy mattress, a fire pit for cooking, a Blackstone grill and griddle and a picnic table.
Does the tent have electricity?
Our tents do not have electricity but we do have power stations that allow for charging electronic items like a cell phone, lap top, and even a CPAP machine. Solar string lights surround each tent site and lanterns are also provided for your night time adventure.
Is there WIFI?
Yes! We have WIFI at all tent sites. It can be used reliably for phone calls, emails, video calls, and surfing the internet.
What is provided for cooking?
We provide enamel-coated metal dishes, utensils, metal cups and mugs, as well as cookware, including pots and pans that can be used on an open fire. There are two larger propane grills located in the common area for use, as well.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! Dogs are welcome at Firefly Ridge. We do ask that you keep your dog leashed at all times and that you pick up after your pet, as needed. While you may have a friendly dog, others may not. Please be mindful of the privacy at each tent site.
Where can I get ice?
We keep ice on-site. It’s $5 a bag and can be paid through your reservation or with a member of our staff.
