The end of summer is near! Labor day is a time to celebrate all of the hard work and achievements throughout the year. Use the long weekend to enjoy outdoor recreational pursuits like kayaking, horseback riding, hiking and even bird watching while spending time with family and friends. Stargazing in the mountains will leave you in awe. Expect dark nights and great sights. The meteor shower is expected to be viewable from July 14th to August 24th, with the peak viewing dates of August 11th and 12th. It is anticipated to be able to view 100 meteors an hour! There is no better place to relax and watch the world spin.
The summer midway marks the halfway point of summer vacation. Bring the family and enjoy free fishing rentals all weekend, while available. The long summer days mean that you can keep family time going late into the night! Bring your binoculars, bring your hiking boots and don’t for get the swim gear!
